Senior Account Executive, Imre Health
General Summary:
imre is looking for a Senior Account Executive (SAE) with strong experience in health care communications to join our growing team. SAE should be a marketing communications strategist, with a strong breadth of health care and pharmaceutical communications expertise.
Under the supervision of an Account Manager, the SAE serves as a counselor to his/her clients and junior staff members alike. The SAE is able to handle multiple projects with a high degree of confidence, independence and sound judgment, working collaboratively with our team of Creators specialists (creative, social media and digital). The ideal candidate understands contemporary communications, the nuances of the highly regulated health care industry, and is savvy in developing insights-based strategies that will connect with our client’s customers.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provides outstanding customer services and serves as a primary contact and liaison between the agency, assigned client and third party partners.
• With Account Managers and Directors, provides overall leadership and direction in recommending short-term and long-range marketing and communications goals and objectives for assigned clients. Leads client teams in planning and developing programs and services, which are consistent with the clients mission and strategic plan.
• Highly detail-oriented practitioner, responsible for project management, quality assurance and all internal and external communications associated with client programs.
• Leads execution of innovative, technology-forward integrated communications programs across multiple clients in the health care and life sciences space. Responsible for ensuring the highest quality work is deployed on behalf of clients, and effectively delivers desired results.
• Responsible for the fiscal management of assigned client budget. Accountable for the development, management and evaluation of operating budget, and for achieving objectives while operating within budgeted expense targets.
• Ensures that the client and agency complies with all FDA regulations, copyright laws, confidentiality issues and ethical standards within the profession.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Strong health care and life sciences experience.
Position requires exceptional project management and quality assurance skills, oral and written communications expertise, and knowledge of communications techniques and typical agency procedures in order to coordinate effective campaigns and programs.
Work requires excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external audiences, to propose marketing and communications goals and objectives, to seek out and build relationships with potential clients, to close deals and to lead and direct subordinate staff.
Position requires problem solving and conceptual skills to recommend approaches and methods; to plan, coordinate, and evaluate communications activities; to prepare reports and analyses; to project trends and developments in the field; and to recommend short-term and long-range goals and strategies based on such.
Position requires both a team player that encourages collaboration and ideation among team members, as well as, an aggressive and fearless communicator, that is willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to deliver the highest quality work on behalf of their clients.
