Marketing Manager - Lead Generation

The newly developed Professional Membership team is responsible for recruiting and retaining members of the world’s foremost influential business membership. Responsibilities Include:
This position will support the revenue growth in our new Professional Membership unit by enabling our sales teams to better address their clients’ needs and increase their book of business. The candidate will have the ability to develop a deep understanding of our existing customers and prospects. They will also understand our offerings inside and out.
The position will create a lead generation strategy for our Industry and Executive memberships. They will identify what first part data to use, identify and negotiate with partners to augment that data, and create the process to generate leads. They will also design campaigns to generate new leads through digital or event registrations. They will maintain this database and prioritize it to ensure sales teams are in the best position to hit or exceed their targets. This will require heavy coordination with our membership GMs, as well as our data teams.
This person will also have to work extremely closely with the sales team, who sell via phone and face to face to PR agencies, communications departments, department heads and C-Suite executives.
Requirements:
• 5-7 years experience in B to B demand generation
• An understanding of sales pipeline management and the ability to work backwards from targets to give sales teams enough quality leads to hit those targets
• Proven ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines in a fast paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with Salesforce.com and lead generation technology
