Job Summary
Work closely with business owners and assist finance leadership to make informed decisions regarding projects, business opportunities, and future outlook. Proactively help manage a portfolio through advanced financial analysis.
Job Description
• Identify and analyze financial impact of cash versus GAAP reporting.
• Review and advise on business cases, working with functional leaders to understand financial and business details, and with accounting to ensure both GAAP and cash impact is accurately reflected. Track performance against business cases.
• Prepare annual budget and monthly forecasts for a significant and complex business area.
• Prepare detailed financial analysis and monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
• Develop an expert knowledge of business areas supported and recommend reporting enhancements.
• Assess financial, business, and market trends and provide insight to functional leadership on long term strategy including multiyear forecasts, risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience needed with a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ with a Master's Degree
• MBA preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Excel (modeling and data manipulation), PowerPoint, and Hyperion Essbase; Access and Brio a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate large amounts of information.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in fast-paced, demanding and dynamic environment.
