Position Overview
Produce and direct all aspects of a digital media project from concept and budgeting through execution and final delivery. The position supports internal PSAV clients and direct-to-client business.
Key Job Responsibilities (Weight %)
Project Management (40%)
Work with the design team to develop an execution protocol per project. Keep the production teams, talent, and artists’ work on target with the creative direction of all projects. Communicate with internal PSAV clients and end-clients to share updates and to manage reviews and revisions. Coordinate studio and crews and oversee all stages of the production, pre to post. Manage the budget, control costs, and handle all associated paperwork.
Concept Solution & Development (20%)
Work with internal and external clients to identify needs and opportunities that require digital media for communication. Determine content objectives with the client and work with the design team to develop concepts and solutions. Remain aware of digital media trends and communicate with team members and clients.
Account Management (20%)
Meet with internal and external clients to present concepts and ideas. Respond to questions regarding proposals and work closely to ensure that the concepts are adopted by the customer. Present concept solutions to the client in written form and budgeted creative proposal appropriately.
Resource & Relationship Management (10%)
Seek, develop, and maintain professional relationships with high level production professionals and vendors across the network. This includes directors, directors of photography, gaffers, writers, editors, and external production teams. Emphasis will be placed on continued utilization of resources to encourage discounts and complimentary services that can be leveraged to better fit our clients’ budgets.
Internal Customer Communication (10%)
Develop creative services and products for use by PSAV departments to include modular media and sales tools that are deployable at any level to enhance awareness of Creative Services’ offerings. Interact with top managers and decision makers across the company to make them aware of the products and services that can meet their departments’ needs.
Job Qualifications
• 4-6 years digital media production or 2 years + BA/BS degree in related field
• Advanced computer skills on both PC and Mac platforms; to include MS Office products and familiarity with video, graphics, and audio production tools, including but not limited to: Adobe Creative Cloud, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D
• Knowledge of digital deliverable formats and custom resolution calculations for mapping and media servers
• Knowledge of industry production practices and financial management to allow for accurate budgeting and execution
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written; strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and executive level clients
• Wide degree of professional latitude expected
• An ability to work autonomously, with large teams, small teams and also provide necessary transparency for managers
• Familiarity in working with a project management software is a plus (Currently using Wrike)
Required Experience:
This person would likely have at least 5-7+ years of experience leading creative projects at an agency, tv, or media production house.
Smaller projects like church and school projects will not be enough to qualify for this role.
