Description
The Objective for Sales Manager for The Future Perfect is to oversee a team of three (and growing) Sales Directors and two Customer Service Specialists in New York and direct the Sales Team in an effort to maximize growth and bolster the Sales Team’s potential.
Responsibilities-
- Oversee day-to-day operations and performance of Sales Team.
- Provide input and support for trade meeting materials.
- Evaluate monthly sales objectives for each of the Sales Directors - including revenue reports generation, forecasting and goal setting (individual and team).
- Liaise with other company departments– logistics, web, etc. - to ensure achievement of sales objectives.
- Ensure Sales Team has the necessary resources to perform properly – including feedback, support and training.
- Investigate and resolve lost sales, refunds and vendor/production issues.
- Work closely with Owner and General Manager on strategies for future business endeavors, Sales Team incentives and overall company growth.
Requirements + Skills:
- Experience with Sales Force is a must
- Heavy usage of Google applications (Sheets and Docs).
- 3+ years experience in managing a team in a retail setting. References will be thoroughly checked.
- A true, natural leader – outgoing, self motivated, capable of developing and executing a plan to realize goals.
- Relative experience in furniture and design industries a major plus.
- Experience working with inventory management and POS systems a must; Lightspeed system knowledge is a plus.
- Successful previous experience consistently meeting objectives and executing sales process from plan to close.
