Summary of Position:
The Coordinator will support the 2 department VPs who oversee all International Theatrical Publicity campaigns for the Lionsgate and Summit upcoming slate across all 90 international markets.
Responsibilities:
• General administrative support, to include phones, scheduling meetings and expense reports
• Disseminate film press breaks and reviews to distributors and filmmakers, working closely with our media monitoring agency
• Update relevant publicity documents and marketing decks
• Assist with the preparation of all publicity set visits, long lead days, junkets and tours
• Book flights, cars, greeters, and hotel for talent
• Update talent schedules as needed
• Negotiate talent grooming and styling
◦ Coordinate red carpet crews for US based Premieres
◦ Manage all department accounting:
• Process invoices / work closely with AP and AR
• Set up new vendors with AP and answer to any vendor questions regarding payment status
• Administer press junket and tour invoices to the international territories
• Follow up on outstanding payments
• Assist with creating and reconciling budgets for press junkets and tours
Experience & Skills:
• The successful candidate will be proactive, resourceful and efficient with exceptional computer and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and be able to adapt to multiple assignments and deadlines
• The ability to work well independently, and as part of a team
• Flexibility to occasionally work long hours and weekends for events
• Experience planning and working at international publicity events with cast and filmmakers to include: press junkets, screenings, and premieres
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop
• Knowledge of special systems for marketing
• Knowledge of communicating with international distributors
• The ideal candidate would also be available to start immediately
