We are currently looking for a creative, passionate 3D Artist to join our team. Our ideal candidate should be a very detail-oriented artist, self-motivated, with strong communication skills, and a team-player. You’ll need to collaborate with other Artists and Lead Artists to produce high quality 3D art and contribute to art processes and standards.
Position Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Create both stylized and realistic assets, ranging from hard-surface and organic models.
• Interpret artistic direction with ease, with or without concept art.
• Create efficient UVs and topology for production.
• Take your high poly sculpts and create real-time environment art models and textures that are production-ready for rigging and animation.
• Maintain the production schedule and/or communicate any deadline concerns.
• Understand production pipelines with a focus on Modeling, Previs and Layout.
• Problem solve creative challenges on the fly.
• Partner with engineers and tech artists to help develop an effective art pipeline.
• Work closely with Senior Artists and the Lead Artist to produce high-quality 3D art in an iterative process.
• Maintain excellent file structure and organization.
• Able to filter and evaluate criticism on a professional level.
• Mentor junior artists within the studio and throughout game development.
• Continually sharpen 3D artistic abilities and software expertise through company training, independent learning, and learning from other team members.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Expertise in 3dsMax, Zbrush, and Photoshop (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs).
• Strong skills in modeling both organic and hard-surface.
• An affinity for texturing characters and props as well as architectural and natural environment elements.
• A strong understanding of color theory and lighting.
• Experience rendering with VRay or equivalent.
• Excellent design and compositional skills.
• Ability to self-manage time with a reasonable degree of accountability and minimal instruction.
• Understand how to design art for various themes and platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Rigging and Animation a plus.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating an ability to work with a broad range of subjects and styles from realistically detailed to stylized.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer animation/game art/animation or other equivalent experience
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years production experience as a 3D artist.
