The job:
This is a visible position requiring a high level of responsiveness with technical skill and professionalism. Must rely on experience and technical knowledge to plan and accomplish the team objectives. The Technical Analyst is required to be able to work with all levels of management, technical and non-technical and resolve tickets via Jira ticket system. Ability to prioritize and multi-task when answering emails, taking phone calls, or walk-ups and respond accordingly to all requests in a timely manner. Assists employees in the office and remote locations with technical computer support of laptops, desktops, virtual desktops, mobile devices, applications and related technology. This includes performance of routine troubleshooting, support and maintenance. Research complex problems, identifies specifications, installs software/hardware and tests computing systems and peripherals within established guidelines.
You will:
• Install, configure, maintain and support PC/MAC hardware and software for the end user computing environment
• Inventory control of computer hardware and peripherals
• Perform hands-on fixes and upgrades of hardware
• Provide 2nd tier support of phone and computer technology
• Assist other internal groups as needed with technical problems and questions
• Assist with technical projects as necessary
• Provide after hours and weekend support as needed
• Provide standards and policies to end users where applicable
• Monitors, responds and updates ticketing system to reflect status
• Perform all other duties as assigned
You have:
• Two to five years similar work experience required
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems (7,8), Mac OS, mobile devices, peripherals, printers
• Executing standard troubleshooting procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with little direct supervision
• Must be detail oriented
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
