The world’s leading full-service entertainment, media, and sports agency is seeking an assistant to support an Agent in the Video Games department.
CAA Games represents the leading developers, creators, and influencers in the interactive industry. Our talent is responsible for Minecraft, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Evolve, & South Park, among others. The team’s expertise is in augmenting the business development capabilities of games studios, publishers, and teams by providing consulting and deal-making services, from ideation to launch of a title or initiative, across all aspects of production, marketing, and execution.
We are seeking an individual who has a true passion & interest in the video games world and the business behind the games industry. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with game consoles, systems, platforms, and genres. This position works hand in hand and supports a video game agent that also works on crossover projects with other departments across the agency including Film, Television, Sports and Business Development.
Responsibilities
• Coordinating and maintaining meetings, conferences, schedules, and travel.
• Preparing expense reports, tracking client & department materials.
• Producing correspondence, special projects & pitch materials.
• Sustaining a current and historical knowledge of world trends in all aspects of digital media with an emphasis on video games.
• Heavy email correspondence to and preparation for senior-level executives and agents.
Qualifications
• Must possess the ability to pay close attention to detail and convey information clearly and succinctly.
• At least 1-2 years of Administrative Assistant and/or operations experience and/or internships within the entertainment industry.
• Adept at quickly learning new processes and technology. Strong command of Keynote and Microsoft Office suite, in particular Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have strong internet research abilities.
• Extremely flexible, proactive, highly organized, and ability to easily shift priorities, multi- task, and handle heavy work flow processing.
• Must be a team player with an ability to succeed in a fast paced, highly demanding, high volume, dynamic, corporate environment.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
