Requirements
Position Description:
As a member of the chemistry content team, the content development intern will work under the guidance of our subject matter experts to assist in the creation and evaluation of online chemistry homework problems and the assessment of the chemistry content libraries.
Major Responsibilities:
• Involved in online assessment creation for higher education chemistry courses
• Assist in identifying additional content needs for the chemistry libraries
• Help assemble and review course structures
• Assist with development and production of media and assessment for chemistry
Required Skills / Knowledge:
• Completion of lower-division chemistry coursework, specifically general chemistry and some organic chemistry
• Excellent written communication skills
• Tutoring, peer instruction, and/or undergraduate learning assistant experience
• Tech savvy with ability to learn new systems
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail is a must
• Experience with online homework systems is preferred
