Reports to: Director of Public Engagement
Position Description:
The School & Group Visits Coordinator coordinates and schedules school and group visits to Pioneer Works. This includes K-12 school programs as well as student and adult groups. The coordinator will administer all aspects of tours including calendar coordination, registration, confirmation, tracking and scheduling with appropriate departments and staff. With the Director of Public Engagement, they will coordinate the scheduling and administration of contracted educators for school programs as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and administer all aspects of school and group visits at Pioneer Works
- Serve as internal point person across the organization to set up, schedule and confirm tours and visits for youth, students, and adults as requested
- Maintain and update registration process and online information on website and across other digital platforms
- Track tours for annual reporting
- Assist in implementing evaluation for select tour programs
- Coordinate schedule, contracts, and invoicing for contracted educators for training and tours with K-12 groups
- Serve as guide for building and organizational tours as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience administering and coordinating hospitality, education, or related group experiences within an cultural or creative organization. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has a keen attention to detail, and an interest in working in a growing cultural institution. Experience with direct customer service, hospitality and organizational administration desired for this role.
