Purpose of Role:
The Sales Enablement Systems Administrator is primary administrator of various systems used by Sales and managed within the Sales Enablement organization. These systems include HMH’s Learning Management System (Saba), the Sales Hub (SAVO), an internal SharePoint site and other internal and external tools and software resources used by the sales force. The Systems Administrator will perform common administrative tasks such as resetting passwords, adding users, setting up courses, escalating issues to a vendor, pulling reports and providing troubleshooting services. In addition, the qualified candidate will also assist in testing upgrades, providing ways to increase the efficiency of administration processes, and create and update documentation when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide troubleshooting services for HMH and external systems and tools to the Sales Force (e.g. password resets, log in issues, browser related problems, tablet related issues, etc.) by phone, email, IM etc.
• Manage users, courses and content as directed for HMH and external systems and tools (e.g. editing and posting documents, removing users no longer with HMH, replacing courseware, etc.)
• Pulling, modifying and sending reports as requested
• Creating and editing documentation on system functionality, troubleshooting techniques, best practices and other documentation as required
• Testing system upgrades, providing QA, providing user experience feedback and other common QA and UAT functions
• Participate in collaborative, cross-functional teams on projects that may include items such as system security initiatives, disaster recovery initiatives and other projects that may arise both planned and unplanned
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with Learning Management Systems, CRM systems or other Enterprise Software or SAAS administration
• Preferred: • 4+ years of experience administering LMS’s, CRM systems, or other Enterprise or SAAS solutions in a high-tech environment
• System Administrator Skills/Competencies
• Ability to troubleshoot on common user technical issues via phone, email, instant messenger and other mediums
• Ability to create and customize reports for various internal audiences from multiple systems
• Ability to track and report on common trends and provide ways to increase efficiency of system management
• Proficiency in creating and editing technical documentation relating to systems support
Software and Hardware
• Technological expertise on iOS, Chrome, Android and other tablet devices and Smartphones.
• Technological expertise in both PC and Mac systems
• In-depth content expertise in technology integration within the K-12 education market
• Moderate Proficiency in:
◦ SAVO
◦ GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, WebEx or other similar webinar technologies
◦ Saba: HMH learning management system
◦ SharePoint
◦ Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational and record keeping skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Strong attention to details
• Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration in a large, fast-paced corporation
• High technical aptitude
• Ability to learn new software and hardware quickly
• Sense of urgency to resolve escalated inquiries
