Overview and Responsibilities
The Director / Senior Manager, Marketing & Partner Solutions (MPS) Strategy, is a key position within the MPS Strategy group. The MPS Strategy groups leads the design of Sales Revenue structures for MPS, including for example Go to market strategy, market positioning, client segmentation, sales structure, performance management, training and development, communication, change management, sales tools and processes. All designs are based on deep understanding of consumer, industry and market trends and client needs; and are developed with the input of and in collaboration with all MPS teams.
The group is a key driver of change in the MPS organization, while fostering collaboration across Ad Sales and related groups, to drive ad revenue growth and future opportunities.
The Director / Sr. Manager is responsible for project oversight for various Strategy and cross-functional projects that drive transformation of MPS and accelerate revenue growth – this includes rigorous project management, process design, systems implementation and developing well-designed PowerPoint presentations. The position has high exposure to MPS leadership and multiple Viacom groups outside of Sales.
Strategy & Transformation
Support Ad Sales Strategy EVP and VP in driving key projects pertaining to Sales Revenue leadership structures and organizational transformation.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Act as central MPS point for numerous workstreams related to organizational transformation, including for example, training plans, designing KPIs for Sales, systems implementation and maintenance, process design, and salesforce training
• Collaborate with MPS functional groups (i.e., Sales, Marketing, etc.) to project manage implementation of key strategic initiatives; Act as centralized lead on such programs
• Liaise with multiple business areas involved in cross-functional projects
• Define internal, cross-team processes for new initiatives and products; identify process improvements for existing sales initiatives
• Take lead on design and implementation of CRM system from the MPS side
• Work on special projects and ad hoc requests as needed
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA from top-tier program preferred.
• 4+ years work experience, with heavy emphasis on project management and transformation; ideally with experience at a major consulting firm
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable working on broad array of projects involving multiple functional groups; experience managing such projects

• Excellent ability to synthesize data and qualitative inputs into clear, concise PowerPoint presentations
• Proficiency in building and maintaining project tracking documents
• Ability to think strategically; experience with key frameworks for strategic analysis - for example, competitive analysis, key financial ratios, SWOT analysis, market/industry analysis, etc.
• Learning and applying frameworks for analysis of organizations - structure, efficiency, processes, and competency definitions
• Collaborative workstyle, while balancing that with deadlines
• Committed to performing at a high level on a consistent basis
• Humility and willingness to not only delegate work, but also roll up sleeves and get involved to help the team
