BASIC FUNCTION:
Coordinate preprint movement, accounting and identification between Packaging and receiving. Interface with Advertising, Receiving, IT and Accounting on preprint schedules arrivals and insertion. Accurately input and verify preprint numbers in Burt. Maintain department records. Assist Packaging Manager as needed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain, track, confirm quantities, condition, page size, issue date, schedules and preprint reservations with Packaging, IT, Advertising and Receiving.
Distribute preprints to departments as needed.
Verify, input and generate reports for preprint numbers in the Burt system.
Maintain department records as needed.
Maintain department supply inventory.
Generate ROP bundle sizes.
Provide excellent customer service including routing phone calls and replying to phone request regarding preprints.
EDUCATION OR TRAINING:
High school Graduate; some college preferred. Competent in Microsoft office and general computer skills.
KNOWLEDGE:
Basic mathematic, grammar and computer skills.
SKILLS:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, high level of accuracy in a high pressure environment and a self-starter.
SPECIFIC ABILITIES:
Must employ initiative and excellent problem-solving skills with little direction.
