Description
We’re looking for an effective self-starter focused on driving a learning culture as well as understanding, improving, and sustaining employee engagement through learning programs and practices. As a part of a fast-paced, transforming company, you will be in a challenging position to make sure programs and initiatives from the People Team reinforce the company values and meet the development needs of the people and the company. In addition, you will focus on making the employee lifecycle a highly productive and engaging one. In this role, you will have the desire to continually identify best practices for the team, find new ways of developing, engaging and retaining top talent, ensuring that we are executing on all initiatives and are committed to helping employees strengthen the connection between the company’s purpose, core values, and objectives. You will work in collaboration with the various People and Workplace teams as well as cross departmentally to ensure programs developed address identified needs, are delivered well and meet the desired objectives. The successful individual will be creative and a strategic thinker who is passionate about developing talent and engagement within a global setting.
Responsibilities:
• Liaison between all areas of People and Workplace to facilitate program development and execution.
• Serve as a member of the People Business Partner team, acting as a resource to all People team members
• Act as a role model of Glu Mobile philosophies, values, and team expectations
• Partner with People and Workplace leaders to scope, define, plan and develop Glu’s engagement and experience initiatives to reach our engagement and retention objectives
• Drive the planning process, strategy, development, documentation, communication, and implementation of team programs, including:
◦ Performance management
◦ New hire onboarding and off-boarding
◦ On-going career training and educational development
◦ Top talent initiatives
◦ Executive communication vehicles
◦ Existing and new development initiatives
◦ Vendor management
◦ Employee Engagement
• Create, administer, and manage tools for measuring program effectiveness with on-going assessment of best practices, strategy, and results
• Use data to drive decisions and offer creative solutions to programs, communications, and new initiatives.
• Provide insights on how to up level L&D in the new digital learning architecture
• Develop a roadmap of how L&D will tie into all stages of the employee lifecycle.
• Design and align programs, training, and development, both in-house and external, solutions with the needs of to achieve desired end goals and metrics
• Report metrics on utilization, effectiveness and success of various programs and surveys and provide solutions on how to advance effectiveness within Glu.

• You are a HR professional with a focus on learning and development, solid understanding of the various roles, responsibilities and goals of the function
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment with a lot of responsibility
• Have a proven track record of building, supporting and delivering learning and development programs and projects in a timely manner with top quality standards
• You can explain complicated processes simply, and can think both strategically on the big-picture as well as the immediate level of “how does this affect me?”
• You are flexible in meeting changing needs and demands, but still cognizant and attentive to deadlines and goal end dates
• You are creative with PowerPoint, marketing programs, and communications.
• You think like a marketer and are agile in creating solutions.
• You have developed a wide variety of curriculum and are very comfortable facilitating learning experiences and courses
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively across various levels in an organization
• You have the ability to work collaboratively on a high-functioning team
• You have a proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams
• You have a bachelor’s degree and 6-9 years progressive experience in Human Resources and/or Learning and Development
