Description
Do you have a knack for visual storytelling, copywriting, and social media management? Are you the person who remains calm in fast-paced environments with competing and equally important priorities? Do you have exceptional communication skills and feel comfortable managing multiple projects with teammates and external agencies simultaneously?
The purpose of this role is to work closely with the CEO to manage the overall brand strategy of the company. You will be responsible for taking big ideas and refining them, bringing them to life, and seeing them through to completion. The ideal candidate is known for her/his innovation but is also able to work within the context of an existing vision and an established brand. She/he must also have a thorough understanding of the company and be able to consistently communicate, create, and develop partnerships while keeping its unique voice in mind.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Liaise with PR, digital marketing, strategic partnerships, and web development agencies, providing copy, images, and any other necessary assets
- Develop paid ad content based on agency recommendations
- Create and manage all email marketing
- Create and manage all content for social media, getting approval from CEO
- Manage events (trunk shows, workshops, pop-ups, etc.)
- Manage/develop brand partnerships with agency support
- Write all website and ad copy
- Monitor daily ROAS and provide reports to CEO
- Prioritize conflicting needs, handling matters expeditiously and proactively
- See projects through to successful completion, following up with other parties and team members as necessary and being mindful of deadline pressures
- Keep CEO constantly apprised of developments in all ongoing projects and their expected completion date
- Conduct all aspects of the job with an appropriate level of confidentiality and sensitivity to data by storing documents carefully and not disclosing confidential information
YOUR BACKGROUND
- BA or BS degree
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably with a focus on fashion retail
- Demonstrated copywriting and social media management skills.
- Knowledge of MailChimp email platform preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency with computers
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information sensitively and securely
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- A pleasant, can-do attitude and desire to jump in and master a diverse set of tasks
