The Program Manager will be responsible for development, support and maintenance of new and existing program processes, collaborative management of internal & external communication cadence, oversight of various program related deadlines & timelines, the organization of cross-functional department roles & deliverables, the creation of efficiency tools & resources, and more. The ideal candidate has an interest and prior experience in experiential marketing and program management, with a desire to collaborate with a team that brings ideas to life through creative and strategic marketing programs.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Work directly with account director to establish program operations and expectations, and align internal departments
• Support account director as secondary point of contact for client in day-to-day operations
• Prepare work orders for all new activations, deliver to client and secure client sign off before work is commenced
• Develop timelines and critical planning documents to inform and align internal teams and stakeholders prior to activation launch
• Work with account director to establish objectives and key performance metrics, and develop reporting protocols
• Compile and streamline training materials, distribute to internal teams and stakeholders as needed
• Deliver to client and secure client approvals on all necessary program documents including creative, messaging, etc.
• Ensure that activation plans are created and disseminated to all necessary teams, in a timely manner
• Act as conduit between account director and field manager/teams; providing general oversight of field activity, ensuring compliance in all aspects
• Conduct field visits and spot checks as required to ensure quality execution
• Support account director in leading weekly program meetings and status calls
• Compile overarching reports to be delivered to account director, and shared with client and stakeholders
• Provide budget development, management, analysis, and reconciliation support as needed
• Provide ongoing finance and business affairs process support to the team as needed
Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or the equivalent
• 8-10 years of relative experience within field/experiential marketing & events
• Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight timelines; ability to delegate
• Must have strong Powerpoint & Excel skills
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who demonstrates comfort with ambiguity and can excel in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
• Ability to confidently and effectively develop and deliver presentations
• In depth understanding of current experiential marketing industry
• Ability to develop business relationships at all levels
• Must be extremely detail oriented, perfectionists preferred
