The Account Coordinator will provide administrative, clerical, and data entry support to the sales organization, utilizing a deep understanding of the company's multimedia solutions.
In this role, you will:
• Accurately schedule customer ads and traffic artwork; review and coordinate proof changes with the Account Manager. Resolve any ad scheduling issues
• Utilize proficiency in office technologies to support sales teams. Assist with any technology upgrades
• Accurately set up new customer accounts, contracts, etc. Assist with account reconciliation needs
• Proactively initiate projects as needed to support sales team and exceed customer expectations
• Maintain customer records including contact information, insertion orders, billing, history, etc. Assist with planning and coordination of special projects
• Utilize salesforce.com to manage day-to-day activities and keep sales team informed of all client updates
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of multimedia product offerings, rates, and value proposition
• Effectively manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• Support promotional and marketing projects as needed
• Regularly communicate with team members on upcoming changes; anticipate needs of teammates
• Work with fellow Account Coordinators as needed to balance workload. Notify supervisor of potential work overload or future scheduling issues
• Drive process improvements and initiates positive, constructive change
• Gain trust of teammates and builds consensus
• Understand the need for positive change and be receptive to constructive feedback
• Embrace and quickly adapts to changes
• Offer ideas which will move the sales process forward more effectively
Here’s what you need:
• One to three years’ experience in servicing accounts or customer service in a professional office environment. Prior media experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; Salesforce or other CRM preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while having an all-encompassing understanding of the media sales process
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively under deadline pressure
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
