The overall responsibility of the R&A Principal Analyst/ Manager is to design, develop, implement, test, deploy and maintain business intelligence tools, reports, and dashboards. This role supports standard reporting, ad-hoc reporting, statistical analysis and benchmarking, forecasting, predictive modeling, and influence of operational optimization, and transform business reporting requirements into meaningful visualizations, KPIs and dashboards.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gather requirements for reports and interactive dashboards
• Develop, and support the development of reports and visualizations that address business needs
• Perform data analysis to ensure on-going data integrity, quality and operational efficiency
• Analyzing data with standard statistical methods, interpreting the results, and providing summary of data analyses
• Adherence to publication approval standards for dashboard release reviews and provide feedback to help with process improvement
• Disseminate information regarding tools, reports, or metadata enhancements
• Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools
• Maintain catalog of reports, templates, and other reusable knowledge assets
• Discuses reporting or information needs with stakeholders, strategic and business partners, and teams
• Participate in ongoing decisions concerning data collections, data design, methodology, and data analysis
• Works hand-in-hand with BI Mgr that design and build data models and internal ETL-processes
Qualifications
• Tableau developer experience required
• Bachelors degree required; Advanced degree preferred
• In-depth experience in data reporting & analytics tools, process, methodologies and best practices. Knowledge and wide application of principles, theories, and concepts, and working knowledge of other related fields
• Experience with storytelling with data, data visualization design and visualization best practices
• Experience in building reports and dashboards with Tableau Desktop and administering Tableau Server
• Knowledge in designing data models for optimal use for analytics
• High-level analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
