Key responsibilities
• More specifically, the person will be required to:
• Partner with HR team to implement best practices with the /HR structure. Work with HR and off-site Managers to ensure the integrity of the ADP/ Work Force Now system is maintained and system is used to its capabilities.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage projects or assignments that are moderately complex in nature where professional judgment is required in solving problems and making recommendations.
• Responsible for balancing runs and ensuring all compliance reports are prepared and fully reconciled.
• Responsible for communicating funding requirements for the , 401(k) and ADP services.
• Responsible for processing garnishments, unemployment reporting, time-off reporting and generating standard and ad hoc reports.
• 401k loan monitoring/data entry/ managing the 401k data
• Responsible for ensuring the processing of all withholding tax issues including quarterly and annual balancing and audits.
• Assure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state and local taxes in various states where the company has employees. This includes in some case establishing a new location.
• Performing timely and accurate preparation of semi-monthly & off-cycle runs while ensuring employees are paid in compliance with state laws and company policies.
• Providing support in the Quarter/Year-end process and/or audits as requested by business units and HR/Finance.
• Prepare spread sheets as it relates to and employee fringe benefits.
• Must be able to work in a team environment and establish strong cross-functional relationships.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
• 3 to 5 years of multi-country Payroll experience working with ADP software or similar platform.
• Advanced knowledge of PC applications (principally Excel and MS Office products).
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and organization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to facilitate clear and concise communication with a high level of professionalism.
• Well versed with standard payroll/accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
• Strong ethical values.
• HR knowledge as it relates to payroll and accounting.
• Ability to work in a team environment in making business decisions, implementing process and enlist feedback.
Interests and generic skills
• Bachelor degree, or similar degree desired.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, able to speak, read and write fluently in both languages.
• Knowledge of ADP Work Force Now and Oracle.
• Ability to exercise individual judgment in researching problems and resolving employee issues with a sense of urgency to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong internal customer focus required with a positive attitude.
• Ability to respect and protect confidential employee information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self- managing, pro-active and detail oriented.
