• Bose Corporation is seeking an experienced Planner/Analyst to execute a global supply chain and delivery model yielding the highest quality products in the shortest possible time at the lowest total cost of ownership to delight our customers. As an integral member of the Global Supply Planning team, you will interface heavily with internal procurement teams, divisional and sales team members to improve inventory performance, delivery, quality, and lead time.
Responsibilities::
◦ Responsible for global supply planning of assigned product families.
◦ Ensure supply plans sufficiently support committed sales forecasts and availability targets.
◦ Execute supply plans to achieve targeted inventory budgets.
◦ Evaluate supply chain abilities to support ad-hoc or un-forecasted demand changes.
◦ Provide appropriate definition of priorities to sources of supply whenever supply is constrained. Support allocation processes as required.
◦ Support divisional and sales colleagues through contributing participation in sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes.
◦ Manage lifecycle activities in SAP related to new product launch and end of life transitions.
◦ Maintain relevant ERP system master data.
◦ Interface with multiple departments to ensure smooth material flow, addressing such issues as material shortages, accounts payable discrepancies, receiving issues, etc. Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and coworkers, promoting Bose values, objectivity and fairness.
Must have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
◦ Demonstrated analytic and problem solving capabilities. Able to draw conclusions and provide business insight from working with multiple sets of data.
◦ Experience working with an industry recognized ERP software application. SAP ECC and APO experience is preferred.
◦ Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
◦ Exemplary communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
◦ Ability to build and maintain effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers customers and team members.
◦ Professional certifications preferred (e.g., APICS, ISM).
Qualifications:
◦ 3 to 7 years of relevant procurement or supply chain planning experience.
◦ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or any major related to the job description.
