We are looking for a dynamic leader to inspire & lead Legacy Recordings’ content team.
Responsibilities
• Lead and shape a high performing team of content managers and creators to build & create dynamic, relevant and engaging content
• Cultivate a healthy balance between creating dynamic marketing tools that reflect the current needs of the market-place coupled with the business needs of managing content budgets as well as work-flow efficiencies
• Ensure a collaborative approach with marketing and sales teams to help support revenue goals for the label
• Bring an innovative, positive, entrepreneurial and creative passion to the role with an unyielding drive to experiment, learn, adapt, collaborate and succeed
• Partner as a thoughtful member of the senior Legacy team and collaborate with other departments to drive the business forward and accelerate growth of our artist’s catalogue
• Dynamic motivator and hands-on leader who has a long track record of successfully managing workflows of content and design teams
Qualifications
• 10+ years of leadership experience with digital content creation & managing a team - ideally coming from an agency, music label or similar entertainment field
• Deep passion and knowledge of music & artists and a strong understanding of how & where fans engage with songs, albums, playlists and artists
• Collaborative personality who is comfortable with change and has a hunger to learn & experiment
• Exceptional people management skills as well as the ability to prioritize, multitask, focus, lead, influence and delegate while working under stressful and demanding situations
• Ability to think independently and create and develop ideas that lead to positive change/improvements
• Balances macro-thinking with hands-on execution
• Strong knowledge of content creation/project management tools and platforms
• Well organized with exceptionally strong communications skills that is adaptable to different personality styles and situations
• Strong mentorship skills, being able to share information and educate others
