Schedule Analyst
The Finance Division is in search of detail oriented individuals who understand the importance of effective scheduling and its impact on the team member experience and retention in addition to the guest's experience. The Scheduling Department will be focused on the creation, posting and communication of schedules with a variety of positions available from Supervisor to Scheduler.
REPORTS TO: Labor and Payroll Manager
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overseeing the effective use of park labor resources and tools across assigned departments. Position will serve as a resource to departments and employees to optimize the availability of labor based on the dynamic needs of the park.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create, input and post departmental schedules on a timely basis and ensure they optimize use of available staff
• Manage and track employee availabilities and time off requests
• Manage, track, and replace daily call ins
• Daily communication with assigned Divisional/Departmental management team and Human Resources management to ensure compliance with Park scheduling standards
• Actively manage labor resources within and across departments to meet labor needs
• Review and analyze schedules to identify and implement opportunities to gain ongoing improvements in labor optimization tools
• Assist in managing requests for additional hours, address situations where employees are under-utilized based on their availability, and monitor assigned departments effective use of its budgeted hours
• Assist with analyzing relevant staffing data -- to include hire, working and termination statistics
IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS:
• At least 1 year of operational Theme Park experience preferred
• Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work productively across various departments
• Ability to work well in high-volume environment and multi-task
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Products with an emphasis in Excel
• Flexible schedule required including nights, weekends and holidays
