Account Director, Redbook
Redbook magazine seeks a full-time Account Director to sell advertising space in magazine, online and integrated programs across all categories.
Requires strong sales calls presentation skills, as well as creative and through follow-up for every call; interacts extensively with agencies and clients to determine key marketing opportunities for all accounts; maintains and improves advertising revenue and share-of-market.

Maintain strong agency/client contacts at all levels, as well as current and rich database of contacts

Key Responsibilities
Driving revenue across all platforms (print and digital) for the brand within assigned territories, agencies and/or categories
Provide accurate and timely business estimates, forecasts, paperwork/administration
Consultative sales approach, including sales call preparation, strong negotiation skills and thorough follow-up for every meeting
Interact extensively with agencies and clients to determine key initiatives for all accounts
Build and maintain strong client and agency relationships at all levels
Use various sales aides, presentations, research, marketing and all resources to help effectively deliver sales message to clients
Cross collaboration with Marketing, Corporate, Production, Finance and other teams within brand unit
Requirements/Skills/Experience
Must be an experiences and seasoned sales professional in advertising/media sales with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Superior sales skills, with results-oriented track record an proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
Extensive list of prior contacts in the sales category required
Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be conversant in new technology (digital, social and mobile)
An individual who works well within a corporate and creative environment
