Vice President, SPRI Accounting and Finance
The Vice President of SPRI Accounting and Finance is responsible for worldwide finance, accounting, and forecasting processes for all 20 territory SPRI offices and Home Office. Forecasting responsibilities include international title forecasting for Revenues, Ads, Prints, and Other for all releases as well as overhead reporting for SPRI territories, Home Office, and WWMD domestic departments. Accounting responsibilities include the consolidation of SPRI international territory results for the 20 offices and more than 60 sub-distributors. In addition, the VP supports operational management with various projects including new distribution deals, opening new offices, dissolving partner relationships, transition/closure of current offices, and various cost saving initiatives and is the SPRI point of contact with SPE Tax, Corporate, and Legal.
Core Responsibilities:
• Operational support (new legal entities, new contracts, dissolutions of agreements, special projects)
• Overhead reporting (SPRI HO, SPRI territories, WWMD domestic)
• Title budgeting and forecasting (Revs/Ads/Prints/Oth)
• Troubleshooting territory issues
• Corporate Projects (TCF, system migrations, Rev Rec, etc)
• Manage ad hoc requests from operations, Home Office, Corporate, Tax, and Treasury
• Accounting support (month end processes, SOX, audit, etc)
Education, Years of Experience, Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required:
• BA/BS
• Certification/Licenses: CPA preferred, but not required
• Entertainment experience, preferably with International focus (5 yrs)
• Experience with managing Budget and Forecasting processes (7-10 yrs)
• Experience with performing and/or managing international accounting close processes (5-10 yrs)
• Has worked closely with Operational teams to support strategic initiatives (5 yrs)
• Strong knowledge of global finance and business processes, with experience or familiarity with shared service configurations
