Job Summary
We’re searching for a creative Visual Content Producer with elegant shooting, editorial and graphic arts skills who can tell a great visual story! Major Duties & Responsibilities
• The primary responsibilies of this multi-faceted position will include editing and producing high-quality video content and soundbites to advance Spectrum Enterprise’s internal communications efforts. The position will be involved in all aspects of video production including, but not limited to, identifying, developing, creating and editing video content.
• Editing, formatting and distributing internal video communications. You will develop stories and video content for use with communication vehicles and programs such as the weekly electronic sales newsletter, intranet, plasma screens, corporate events, training and leadership messages/announcements.
• Bring ideas to the table and translate them into video.
• Design and produce graphics and layouts for various media, including PowerPoint presentations and plasma screen TVs.
• Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to internal communication challenges, finding the most effective way to visually communicate messages.
• Use clear, exceptional editing techniques to bring a strong sense of story and style to projects.
• Responsibilities include digitizing, editing and finishing of videos, motion graphics, compression of video footage, post production (editing, animations and static graphics), menu interface creation and paths, duplication and storage.
• Work with various internal and external teams to create a finished product within tight deadlines.
• Manage video channel administration (YouTube, spectrum.com, spectrum.net etc.).
• Knowledge of social media and how to engage audiences on digital platforms.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• Must have portfolio of proven work – show us your best stuff! Comprehensive portfolio or links to videos is a must.
• Ability to conceptualize projects from beginning to end in a well-organized manner.
• Conceptual, creative thinker who can execute ideas in a visual manner.
• Ensure all creative work adheres to and Spectrum Enterprise’s standards and builds the brand.
• Expert eye for detail and consistency.
• Ability to encode, compress and publish video.
• Deliver all video and audio elements to technical requirements.
• Move from rough cut to final cut without excessive revisions.
• Ability to operate the latest digital editing tools.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a challenging and highly pressured environment.
• Ability to manage numerous projects and details, tight turnaround times, scheduling conflicts, revisions and technical challenges effectively.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization and with various departments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to speak clearly and concisely.
• Ability to stay composed and troubleshoot problems on the spot.
Preferred Qualifications
• Proficiency in one or more software applications, for example: Premier Pro, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Motion, Illustrator and Compressor
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services a plus
Education
• BS/BA in film and production or related field or equivalent experience
Required Work Experience
• Video editing experience in a professional, corporate environment3-5 years
• Experience managing video projects from beginning to end3-5 years
