Order Management Specialist

Ensure that orders are originated, processed, and closed in the system in a timely matter. Direct various departments on the necessary steps to properly complete the task, while overseeing the entire scope of the order process. Work closely with the sales department to monitor forecasts in an effort to reach projected quarterly forecasted numbers for an assigned territory.
Essential Job Functions:
• Act as project manager, taking ownership of all orders to include but not limited to Sale, Participation, Trial etc. within the assigned territory
• Responsible for entire order process from order entry to shipping and invoicing
• Work closely with sales team, casino management and Account Executives to understand customer order expectations, product configuration, requested delivery dates, pricing etc.
• Liaison among sales/customer and the departments that fulfill/manufacture/notify/invoice all of the orders
• Troubleshoot problems as needed to clear obstacles and keep orders in process
• Review slot launch reports to understand what new products are coming to the assigned territory and when they will be approved
• Work closely with Regional Sales and Participation Managers to learn each quarter’s game forecast per assigned territory
• Conduct testing when needed within the oracle system or other databases
Position Requirements
Preferred Experience:
• One to three years related experience
• Oracle experience preferred
• Working knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office and applications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Required Experience: 4+ years business experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Ability to proactively manage multiple orders within assigned territory
• Ability to research and troubleshoot problems
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to understand sales forecasts and earnings concepts
• Must be very detail oriented
• Ability to configure gaming devices to suit customer needs
• Ability to delegate tasks and follow through to ensure proper completion
• Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or suppliers (internal & external)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Knowledge of Gaming Industry and regulations preferred but not necessary
• Must be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks as job requirements may change
