The Project Manager assists the site team and corporate resources with the requirements, implementation and management of systems project to ensure that goals and objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding. This position ensures the product, performance, budget, and schedule are on target for each implementation. This position works in tandem with the Lottery staff, site staff and corporate resources to ensure that project plans are on task and the resources are available for implementation.
• Ability to support the project management life cycle from project assignment to project close
• Ability to gather specifications, dependencies and goals for a project
• Ability to develop detailed implementation schedules for assigned projects
• Tracks, monitors and reports on project activities within project team, customer, and SG management
• Ability to work with departmental teams to establish a work plan and staffing for each phase of the project and assign personnel as designated
• Ability to work with SR Project Manager to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority for the established work plan
• Ability to direct and coordinate activities of project personal to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budgetary guidelines
• Ability to review status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required
• Ability to prepare project reports and status updates to management team
• Ability to work in a team environment across all business units
• Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state at least 10% of the time or as needed
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of related work experience and PM Certified
• Business Analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills across various audiences
• Risk management skills
• Leadership skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise
• Proficient level of Microsoft Office Suite products including Microsoft Project and VISIO
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Experience with leading, directing and managing multiple delivery teams
• Ability to manage issues requiring problem resolution and conflict management
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
