Sales Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
Administrative support for a very busy sales department in the fast-paced world of radio. Responsible for coordinating, preparing and distributing information requested by sales manager, account executives, traffic personnel and business department. Preparing all sales presentations from designing the layout to the finished product. Maintaining client database; typing formal correspondence; updating media kits, sales packages and all sales materials.
Includes phone and billing duties, plus maintaining supplies for department
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Actual hours and schedule may vary.
Supervisory Responsibility
Reports Directly to VP of Local Sales
Required Education and Experience
1. 1+ years in the broadcast industry or comparable experience.
2. Written and Verbal Spanish Proficiency.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Understanding of Nielsen Media Research information a plus.
2. Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Media sales and Sales Force programs is a plus.
3. Bilingual Spanish/English Preferred.
