Job Summary
The Manager role supports Corporate Marketing and Product Management with responsibility of managing headcount plans (budgeting, forecasting, synergy tracking, organizational changes), non-headcount plans (marketing and advertising expense and travel), monitoring and tracking of all marketing spend across all organizations. Marketing and advertising expense analysis would include “productive” (lead gen) and “non-productive” (production, research, creative, systems, etc) go forward expense management framework, developing performance targets, evaluate proposed spending and quantify financial impacts, develop dashboard views of budget, target, and results, and engage with EVP leadership
Job Description
Develop frameworks, models and analyses to improve understanding of cost drivers and to optimize cost.
Review monthly expense results with functional cost owners.
Manage a team of finance professionals, using resources to meet objectives and responsible for staffing decisions as well as performance management.
Lead annual budget and monthly forecast processes. Analyze and challenge assumptions, and identify areas of opportunity and risk.
MBA a plus. Ability to identify, hire and develop employees. Thorough understanding of accounting concepts, financial statement components, and financial analysis metrics such as NPV, IRR and Payback. Ability to synthesize complex business issues into their key actionable drivers for the purpose of promoting understanding and decision making. Marketing background a plus. Strong computer skills including Excel, Powerpoint and Word. Experience with MS Access or Hyperion Essbase a plus. Attention to detail with good
