COMMUNITY RELATIONS ASSISTANT
Something very exciting in Goshen, New York is underway! Due to open in 2020, LEGOLAND New York is Merlin Entertainments' biggest single investment to date and you could play a part in this amazing project!
About the Role
We are now looking for a zealous, detail-oriented Community Relations Assistant who understand the importance of culture in a business setting and is willing to embrace a fast-paced, fun, and positive work environment. This role is located in the heart of the Village of Goshen at our Welcome Center. You will support our LEGOLAND New York team with administrative support including general office duties, ordering supplies, ad hoc projects, and report preparation.
This is a part-time position. Other duties include:
• Undertaking of daily marketing tasks such as monitoring and responding to guest inquiries via phone, email and social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Managing Avius emails and responding in a timely manner.
• Flexibility to attend Chamber and vendor events outside of the average workday.

• You will have confidence to demonstrate the passion in the product, the people ,and get across to all the ‘Fun’ of working at LEGOLAND New York.
• You will have at least 2 years of relevant experience
• You will have strong computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and managing calendars.
• You will have exceptional organization and interpersonal skills.
• You will possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• You will have availability to work Tuesday - Saturday (10 AM - 6 PM). Some weekends and holidays are required- contingent upon business needs.
About You
• Associate's degree or combined work and education that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required duties.
