Job Description
Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Temporary Video Services Project Manager. This position reports to the Manager, Video Services. This person should be highly motivated, extremely well-organized, flexible and someone who can adapt to the quick nature of projects with scope change. This person’s primary job is to support the internal post-production video team which handles a variety of video and motion graphic related projects as part of the internal Creative Services department. As the Video Services Project Manager, you will utilize agile management tools like Kanban, Scrum, and other techniques to ensure that all projects are executed within scope, on time, and on budget while working closely with the brand teams, video artists, producers, and upper management. This person will manage social campaign projects with the digital marketing team.
The position is not to exceed 12 months freelance. Possibility of Temp to Perm.
Responsibilities
• Manage Video Services ticket system (JIRA) requests and execute videos as needed.
• Quality control tickets for new jobs entered; troubleshoot and assign to artist
• Work with team & artists to determine workload and production priorities by holding scrum.
• Communicate with variety of clients in order to keep them abreast of progress and on time asset delivery.
• Closely monitor and maintain team timesheets in JIRA and excel; reconcile weekly invoices
• Create, track, and report budgets for social media projects and other special projects as needed
• Maintain industry standard quality control on all assets delivered to clients, including ESRB and Copyediting compliance
• Work with HR and Corporate Services for set up of temp staff; update internal tools
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment with staff and clients at all levels.
• Ability to manage feedback from multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years in a video production or project management/marketing communications role in an advertising agency, design firm, in-house design department, or related marketing environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to persevere and find order in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing variables.
• Strong, self-confident leader who motivates and builds trust with others both internally and externally
• General knowledge of production and creative terminology as it relates to print, TV, online, etc.
• Basic understanding of video codecs, audio splits, and video compression.
• Knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram formats and various platform offerings is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Entertainment experience (gaming, movies, TV, etc.) and/or agency experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of creative software (Adobe Creative Cloud Suite) is a plus.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and project management software.
• Experience managing budgets using Excel and Google docs.
