Position Overview
The VP, Revenue Management is responsible for developing and executing a defined revenue management strategy that supports PSAV’s growth plan and desired financial results. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the primary responsibility of this role will be to establish a highly effective revenue management practice and culture at PSAV by working closely in collaboration with members of the executive team.
Key Job Responsibilities
Organizational Leadership
• Design and lead PSAV’s strategic approach to Revenue Management.
• Define critical strategic priorities for Revenue Management function and lead a team in designing the road maps/execution plans to execute.
• Establish key metrics and analysis to support the revenue and profit optimization of PSAV’s various business units.
• Provide thought leadership and analysis for our key brand partnership by designing and implementing value added programs that drive revenue and differentiate PSAV in the eyes of our hotel partners.
• Provide a high level of influence and change management leadership in implementing revenue management practices.
• Establish and grow relationships with Hotel Revenue Management teams.
• Partner with PSAV’s leadership in business development efforts.
• Establish the business development approach and analysis for new growth opportunities.
Strategic Planning
• Partner with members of the executive team and COE to establish Revenue Management analytics and objectives.
• Manage strategic plans to drive profitable revenue and improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Track industry and economic performance to guide decisions on price points and discounting benchmarks.
• Provide recommendations on market positioning and participate in the strategic decision making process.
• Develop strategy to address consistency with pricing behaviors across network.
• Establish reliable metrics for measuring the impact of revenue management activities and projecting annual contributions.
• Participate in the development of PSAV’s global growth strategies.
Financial & Analytical Management
• Develop and manage the annual budget for Revenue Management.
• Analyze revenues, expenses and profit contribution associated with established practices, initiatives and future projects.
• Provide analysis outlining the impact of the Revenue Management function.
• Optimize and manage Contract Models and the MSA Model Approval process to ensure our key business relationships are profitable and meet PSAV’s financial objectives.
• Develop Business Analytic Concepts and Tools to support PSAVs revenue management and business development objectives.
People Management
• Hire, develop, lead and motivate a qualified staff to support a productive Revenue Management department.
• Promote and drive a professional team environment resulting in highly engaged and impactful team members.
• Manage human resources of the team related to issues including performance management, salary administration, training and career development.
Required Experience:
Job Qualifications
• BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred
• Exceptional strategic planning and influence skills
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Revenue Management or a combination of 10 years of experience in Revenue Management and hospitality
• Demonstrated knowledge of Revenue Management and Business Development
