Amplified Local in Davenport, IA is hiring for a Sales Support Coordinator to oversee fulfillment of all sold print and digital orders for the sales department.
The Sales Support Coordinator will work with markets to ensure that they are equipped with product information, pricing and customer information. They will also work to ensure that all sold orders are booked correctly in the billing system, creative is ordered and ready for the campaign start date and verify that campaigns are actually running. In working hand-in-hand with the sales team they will assist in growth of market share and revenue.
The Sales Support Coordinator must be highly organized and efficient professional who can wear multiple hats throughout the workday while prioritizing the most important tasks. An effective Sales Support Coordinator will work effectively as a part of the team to communicate and collaborate with other departments in the company.The role requires a proven track record of success in a fast paced, highly accountable environment with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Handle all administrative duties for the organization
• Provide administrative assistance to sales representatives and management team members as required
• Perform data entry duties with regard to sales figures, metrics and other key data
• Create and process sales orders in a timely fashion
• Expedite requests in order to meet deadlines
• Communicate account statuses and relevant information
• Review pending orders and specific customer requests to ensure excellent customer service
• Communicate with other Lee markets on the needs of the Amplified Local sales team
• Provide data and guides that will assist the sales team in hitting revenue targets
• Keep record of sales trends
• Liaise with account managers to develop specific sales strategies
• Stay up-to-date with new product and feature launches and ensure sales team is well informed
• Suggest sales process improvements
• Effectively plan daily, weekly and monthly schedule
• Awareness of performance to goal, gap and assists in developing plans to meet sales goals
• Produce accurate forecasts
• Demonstrate deep knowledge with the ability to clearly articulate the value of marketing solutions
• Accurate ad processing and efficient workflow
• Communicate and cultivate an environment of growth and open dialog
• Work collaboratively with sales team to understand and solve needs
• Seek professional development opportunities which include providing and receiving coaching
• Maintain an organized and accessible file system for administrative and sales professionals
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven work experience with data entry
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
• In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical and multitasking skills
• Teamwork and motivational skills
• Hands on experience with CRM systems
• BS degree in Marketing or associates degree in relevant field a plus
