Job Description
This critical role will help define the most salient aspects of our proprietary platform and capabilities through the application of product marketing methodologies. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the ad technology landscape and major players, particularly in the arenas of data and programmatic. They will work with the marketing and product teams to position the Publicis PeopleCloud platform strategically in the marketplace by developing a narrative that educates and informs the Publicis Groupe agencies and their clients. In turn, this person will solicit feedback from client teams to support the overall product roadmap. They will evangelize the platform in every aspect, able to dive into the data sets and come back out to connect the dots on the bigger picture.
Core responsibilities
• Create clear, consistent internal collateral to educate agency teams with varying degrees of exposure to the platform
• Create compelling client-facing collateral, highlighting the value propositions for the overall solution as well as specific platform features, including use cases, case studies, etc.
• Work closely with Product and Solutions teams to fully understand the nuances of product development and capabilities to ensure all materials are accurate for new and existing products and features
• Gather user experience feedback from agencies and/or clients, translating into requirements for product team
• Work with training team to develop training materials including demo videos, to dive deep on key features and processes to train the client-facing teams
• Assist Brand Development and Client Strategy teams in specific client requests
• As this role supports a global product, work with the Data Governance group to ensure all relevant content is privacy compliant according to GDPR guidelines or similar
• Develop thought leadership pieces (e.g. white papers) for internal and external use, based on a quarterly product marketing calendar that you will own
• As the platform continues to evolve, create and update use cases and user personas
• Maintain an ongoing analysis of the competitive environment, tailoring documentation to target audience
• Balance numerous requests across various teams and routinely deliver materials to meet agreed upon deadlines
• Write regular product release note user updates
Qualifications
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in ad tech and/or agency to incorporate broad industry knowledge
• BA/BS degree
• Proven experience developing marketing strategies and explaining technical products and concepts to non-technical people
• Distinctive problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent presentation skills including demonstration skills
• Thrives in an ambiguous and fast paced environment
• Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Extremely responsive with strong business judgement
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and navigate conflict across various audiences
• Interest in advertising and ad tech industry and a passion for data innovation
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities
• Pluses: Client strategy or planning experience; MBA; ability to write code
