Salesforce.com Administrator
I. Job Summary
| Major goals and objectives.
The Salesforce Administrator is part of our Information Technology team that supports applications for sales pipeline reporting, opportunity to order conversion, client side reporting and pricing analysis. In addition to performing administrative tasks such as user setup, training and data sanitization, this role will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting day to day issues, working with end-users to insure that applications meet their needs and keep pace with changes in program operations, policies and/or procedures.

• Work with Program Manger to be ‘voice of the user’ when working with internal management and SFDC Customer Adoption Specialists

Vendor Management
• Assist Program Manager in working with outsourced implementation partners
• Ensure Implementation partners are satisfying the requirements defined by Meredith subject matter experts and establishing best practice business processes that support Meredith’s business initiatives.

Education:
College degree or equivalent work experience
SFDC Administrator Certification a plus but will consider post hire formal training program
Experience:
2+ years of SFDC experience
Experience in Advertising Sales and/or Operations is preferred
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• General understanding of sales and operations for advertising lines of business
• Master Data Management
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com application functionality
• Must be highly motivated, self-directed, capable of working with direct management located at remote location
• Experience identifying business requirements
• Extensive experience in direct internal customer contact
