Job Overview:
Responsible for helping to create and execute the Talent Management strategy across the West Division. Ensures talent practices are taken down to the supervisor level so we can proactively plan for needs across the division. Partners to build a diverse and inclusive workforce where all employees can thrive. Proactively identifies opportunities where we can better engage and develop employees, and helps to track where investments are made. Acts as a key resource for the division shared services groups. Provides guidance and support to regional talent teams in a matrixed environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Helps set and execute the strategy for talent management across the WD down to the supervisor level (main focus on manager/sup)
oTalent Reviews & Succession Planning
Partners with HRVPs to implement and sustain engagement conversations with our diverse leaders tracks progress and trends for West Division, follows up with HR when necessary
Ownership over leadership assessments: 360 process and leadership assessment tracking follow-up on development, coach assignments, etc.
Collects and tracks HiPo program nominations: facilitates nomination selections and communicates with HQ/regions/participants
Acts as TM lead for division shared services key contact for HRVPs
Helps monitor and track success in TM reviews key metrics and helps make recommendations when changes are needed
Accountable to confirm internal candidates are identified using our succession management process to ensure roles are filled with the right talent
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
6-8 years related TM experience
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to work/collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment
Ability to influence others at all levels in the organization
Strong detail orientation
Strong project management skills
Preferred:
Master's Degree preferred
