POSITION SUMMARY:
At IAS, we’re building solutions to help the advertising industry capture the attention of consumers and turn that attention into action. Our Product Management team collaborates with engineering and data science teams to execute against a planned roadmap, bridging gaps between technical and business teams to guide products and features from concept to commercialization.
As a Product Manager at IAS, you will be a subject matter expert for our industry-leading digital ad measurement products and their application to mobile environments. You will serve as a key stakeholder within a cross-functional team to develop solutions and implement requirements that solve meaningful problems, drive revenue, and support the growth of IAS products worldwide. You can distill signal from noise, chart paths from uncertainty, and have the discipline to know when to say no. You are relentlessly resourceful, metrics-driven, and execution-focused. You want to build something that can shape an industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work as a part of a highly collaborative cross-functional team to oversee the planning, design, and development across the product lifecycle.
• Establish and communicate a prioritized roadmap for internal and external stakeholders.
• Guide engineering and data science teams to execute against a planned roadmap.
• Define acceptance criteria and success metrics to optimize value delivery.
• Make informed decisions around technical challenges and competing priorities.
• Manage technical integrations, certifications, and corresponding programs with app publishers, DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, and creative vendors.
• Collaborate with client services, marketing, sales, and technical writers to develop and deliver internal and external documentation, collateral, training, and support.
• Represent IAS in industry working groups and contribute to industry standards.
• Build relationships with customers and non-customers to garner feedback for the development of product offerings.
• Managing market research and opportunity assessment on new ideas and concepts.
• Be the visible advocate and evangelist for your products internally and externally.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus.
• Minimum 4 years overall industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a product role.
• Technical knowledge a must.
Strong experience working with digital advertising and mobile technologies.
• Understanding of industry guidelines and standards for impression measurement, viewability, ad serving, programmatic, and privacy.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about having a strong impact and contribution.
• Ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.
• Outstanding technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally.
• Experience working with creative ad servers, measurement vendors, and SSPs preferred.
• Experience with MRAID, OpenRTB, VAST, VPAID, etc.
• Expertise, both technical and marketplace, with online media buying and selling, advertising technology, solutions, and ad network business models with digital advertising.
• Works well within an Agile product development environment with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Intellectual curiosity, passion for learning new technology, able to identify market trends.
• Strong technical and operational background.
