Job Summary:
The Director of Technology has high-level responsibility for understanding, planning, and leading the delivery of enterprise technology solutions for our clients, all at the core of digital business transformation. At SapientRazorfish our Technology Directors oversee technology architecture definition, development, design, user interface development and technology integration for marketing and transactional technology initiatives. In this role you will be responsible for building technology teams, managing technology delivery (from definition phase through implementation) as well as contributing to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Play key technology lead role for 2 or more clients and act as the client technology partner.
• Architecture definition and technical leadership of the whole lifecycle starting with presales to implementation of CMS, digital commerce projects, and/or Cloud Solutions (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, SAP Hybris, Oracle Commerce or Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
• Ensures consistency and maintainability across projects by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards and best practices procedures for implementing quality technical solutions.
• Establish measurable criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs
• Lead the translation of the client’s business requirements into systems design
• Work with the client's IT organization to establish technology strategy
• Establish high, mid and micro level plans and set technical direction for a team of up to 25 people
• Work closely with other disciplines such as business strategy, user experience and delivery to ensure successful delivery of client projects.
• Prepare sales proposals and present SapientRazorfish' technology capabilities and proposed solutions to prospects and clients.
Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
• Experience in leading teams of technologists of up to 25 people
• 10-12+ years’ experience in systems integration and custom development, commercial package implementation, and/or interactive design
• deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Extensive project experience within architecture development, integration of backend systems and the development of specific client requirements with WCM/ECM (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager or Sitecore), e-Commerce (e.g. SAP Hybris, WebSphere Commerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• In-depth experience designing and operating deployment architectures including cloud technologies, containers platforms AWS, Azure, GCP:
• Web security experience (PCI Compliance, CSP, XSS, CSRF, and others)
• Familiarity with the software design patterns / testing strategies TDD/BD
• Expert proficiency in Java or .NET, OO Application Development, under UNIX or Windows is required
• Experience with modern architectures, such as cloud-native and micro-services
• A strong understanding of complex computer science and software engineering principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills, are essential
