Analyst, Inventory & Yield, is responsible for maximizing gross ad sales profit while optimizing advertiser and publisher objectives. This role leads initiatives to gather and process data in order to forecast and analyze inventory and performance for a growing network of channels. The analyst will model yield management, analyze fill rates, provide insights for partner management and support business intelligence for senior management. Additionally, the role is responsible for providing actionable information and strategic problem solving to drive tactical solutions and operational excellence for internal customers, advertising clients and supply partners.
Analyst, Digital Inventory and Yield
• Responsible for day-to-day inventory forecasting, campaign delivery analysis, and RFP inventory support for Condé Nast’s entire digital portfolio (video and display). The analyst will determine inventory levels and coordinate with the sales planning team in discussing proper inventory usage.
• Analyze supply management (forecast and report) for the company’s revenue streams across a diverse group of channels, syndication partners and new media products on a multinational level
• Serve as primary point of contact for sales and provide guidance on inventory performance, reports, and general maintenance.
• Ensure all sold revenue is recognized and delivered upon by working with Ad Ops and Sales to manage live campaigns and recommend optimizations for live campaigns in required.
• Find revenue creation opportunities through cross site selling and promotion opportunities (e.g., develop cross site inventory initiatives to better utilize inventory and improve coordination of scarcity and supply realities)
Experience
• 1-3 years professional experience
• BS in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Supply Chain Management (or other related field) is preferred
• Prior familiarity with AdBook, DFP, YieldEx and Adobe Omniture is a plus.
• Verification vendor experience is a plus (Nielsen, comScore, MOAT, DoubleVerify, IAS)
• Passion for new media & technological possibilities with an eager curiosity; demonstrated ability to learn quickly
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must
• Willingness to learn and approach work with a sense of urgency and accountability; confident making quick decisions with the best information available
