Pearson VUE is looking for a resourceful, driven, hands-on Channel Marketing Manager to own the strategy and execution of our channel marketing programs in the Americas. You will create and execute channel marketing programs that drive demand for certification and learning materials by targeting and supporting test centers, training centers and corporate audiences.
Responsibilities
• Marketing Planning and Execution
• Own the channel programs, marketing and communications, and sales enablement strategies for success across channel targets and partners.
• Create and manage marketing plans, editorial and campaign calendars, and budgets for marketing activities.
• Lead channel marketing campaigns from concept to completion; develop project briefs, work closely with internal partners (creative team, technology team, operations), manage creative review process, and work with internal teams to execute campaigns and analyze post campaign data.
• Manage in-person and online events for assigned products and markets.
• Perform ROI analysis of all marketing initiatives.
• Create and manage a portfolio of customized sales tools, communication assets and marketing collateral.
• Manage marketing spend for marketing initiatives and set and track annual KPIs.
• Pitch ideas and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
Project Management
• Manage channel marketing projects to ensure they are completed on time, on budget and are of high quality.
Relationship Management
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal channel sales team.
• Engage with channel partners to gain firsthand knowledge of customers, market trends and competitors.
• Work closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and channel insights.
• Act as the primary channel marketing contact for internal sales and marketing teams.
Qualifications
• 7-10+ years of experience in B2B channel marketing preferred.
• Proven experience creating and implementing effective sales enablement and marketing programs that increase brand awareness, generate demand, and drive revenue.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, IT or related field required.
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including managing to a timeline and budget.
• Experience across multiple promotional vehicles (advertising, collateral, email blasts, Web, direct mail, events, social media) preferred.
• Knowledge of email marketing systems and customer relationship management software preferred.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, training industry and/or electronic testing preferred.
• Vendor management experience preferred.
