The Associate Director, Experiences is responsible for the development of breakthrough creative ideas and effective strategic solutions for agency clients and business partners. This role works collaboratively across multiple accounts as a senior member of cross-functional project teams. Providing leadership to both won projects as well as on new opportunities, responsibilities for the position include: discovery and background research, developing key insights and agency POVs, facilitating group ideation sessions, preparing measurement / ROI plans, and developing brand activation / experience strategies. Ultimately Directors are responsible for the creation of remarkable solutions that “go beyond” and exceed client expectations and needs.
Job details:
• Associate Experiences Director with extensive events experience will work with Executive Directors, Creative and Operations to ideate, create the narrative and package experiential ideas for a diverse range of clients
• Once sold, this Strategist will participate in execution to make sure the experience delivers on expected outcomes
• Key to this role is the guidance of other experiential strategy associates across other categories
• This role will also contribute to ideation/sponsorship/packaging of newly developed tentpole concepts with all CN brands
• This role will seek out new partnerships (vendors, cultural partners, opportunities) to bring to our clients and to our brand
• Associate Director will craft and write innovative proposals that are creative and will play a key role in the design, creation, and implementation of these programs/campaigns/experiences
• This role will report into the Executive Director, Experiential Creative, 23SXP
Job requirements:
• Bring their own perspective to the job
• The person we seek must be organized, possess exceptional communicative skills, and have the right mix of creativity balanced with ability to package and sensibility towards budget restrictions
• Deep relationships within the industry desired, as well as deep relationships with creative event vendors and cultural organizations
• Candidate should be flexible with change and comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up-within-a-corporate environment
• Skilled at crafting ideas for 6-7 figure budgets, with an eye toward maintaining profit margin
• A passion for never-been-done-before, truly ground-breaking events for a range of clients (from more mass to luxury) and ability to develop creative angle to maximize value and impact from events
• Demonstrated event packaging skills, required for strategic deal-making, with excellent communications and networking ability
• Ability to address problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical solutions with a consciousness toward internal and external customers
• Ability to lead — enhancing ideation, growing their skill set and exploring new trends and partnerships for the team
• Advanced knowledge of all Mac applications (most notably keynote), Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote and Excel)
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A) or equivalent, preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing
• A minimum of 7-10 years in marketing, event management and coordination
