Job Description
Overview:
The Technical Content Analyst is responsible for providing deliverables, reports, and strategic insights. Reporting to a Director, the Analyst assists the Activation Team in developing strategies for clients, compiles reports, analyzes data and writes POV’s and other client deliverables.
Role Objectives:
• Assists in development of technical SEO strategies for various clients, as needed
• Assists in developing processes and templates for deliverable output
• Conducts advanced searches and analyzes data to identify target sites according to determined strategies
• Works with Account Team to understand specific needs and proposed solutions
• Collaborates with the Design and Conversion Optimization Teams on cross-functional audits and analysis
• Delivers reporting and provides client insights
• Assists in Quality Assurance (QA) tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency across deliverables
• Understanding of technical SEO as a discipline and how it fits into larger Performance Content Team (copy, outreach, design, UX)
• Learns and evolves skillset(s) to be successful in an ever-changing industry
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, concentration in appropriate discipline, SEO experience, web design skills and interest a plus
• 1-2 years’ experience with significant writing, research and/or online media components
• Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Keyword Tools, and market research tools a plus
• Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, webservers, etc.
• Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Strong analytical and implementation skills, must be a detail-oriented problem solver
• Strong technical writing experience for a range of audiences: developer, account manager, CMO
• Able to articulate common technical SEO barriers for crawlers
• Ability to craft persuasive, goal-oriented written communications
• Strong online research skills including advanced use of search engines
• High competency level in MS Office products including Excel and Word
• Must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels of staff including senior management
