Job Title:
Junior Associate, Marketing Strategy and Analysis – Consumer and Industry Research
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work with senior members of the team to conduct internal and external secondary research projects, leading to innovative and high quality experiences for our clients’ customers and stakeholders. This role will participate in all phases of research for the purposes of formulating strategy, discovering opportunities, defining requirements, and assessing designs. In addition, the role provides opportunities to work and partner directly with internal clients in a delivery role.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Review and synthesize a large quantity of secondary materials into key findings appropriate for the client and account teams
• Develop C-level (executive summary) and detailed Powerpoint presentations as well as storyboards to reflect research findings
• Leverage available secondary research sources (e.g. Forrester, Mintel, Simmons, Nexis, eMarketer, Google, etc.) to determine market dynamics and trends, performance benchmarks, best practices, etc.
Experience Guidelines:
• 0-1 years of relevant experience
• Experience working with and analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative research data
• Detail orientation with the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely fashion
• Strong interest and resourcefulness in finding secondary information
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Curious mindset and love of learning
• Spirit of helpfulness and team-first mentality
• Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative organization
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience required
