Overview
KTVI-FOX2 / KPLR11 is looking for a web content producer who has a passion for breaking news and social media. The web producer will help oversee station websites and social media accounts including FOX2Now.com and KPLR11.com. Responsibilities include: writing news articles, posting to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on behalf of the station, interacting with viewers, following trending stories, working with reporters, producers, news managers, and on occasion the sales department.
Responsibilities
• Experience writing using AP style
• Familiar with managing social media for business
• Some image and video editing skills (Photoshop & Final Cut Pro)
• Basic knowledge of HTML code
• Experience using WordPress or comparable CMS
• Understanding of Google Analytics, RSS, FTP, SEO, etc.
Qualifications
• Four year college degree preferred
• Related experience working in web production based environment for 3 years
• Valid driver's license
• Must be willing to submit to a background check
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
