Modern Gypsies Productions is a creative company focused on producing, and creating new performance concepts, costumes and production for events locally and internationally. SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent computer skills:
- Knowledge of google docs/sheets (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of photo/ video editing (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, imovie)
- Knowledge of online / social media marketing
Communication skills:
- Excellent in-person/on-the-phone communication skills
- Clean and polished with the ability to use discretion and represent our company in a professional manner
Organizational skills:
- Ability to prioritize, be self-motivated and meet deadlines
- Excels under pressure with quick thinking and problem solving abilities
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
General Sales duties:
- taking incoming sales calls, processing budgets and distributing information to customers through our template based proposal system.
General Admin duties: (this will be your primary work load)
- generating contracts, invoices, packing lists, planning event logistics, supplying clients with needed documentation, and maintaining the calendar.
General Advertising duties:
- social media updates, seasonal newsletter and minor photo/video editing.
General Accounting duties:
- processing purchases / returns, categorizing expenses and inputting into quickbooks.
General Studio management duties:
- packing, running various errands, loading in/out for events, and working with production and management for on site and in studio projects.
SCHEDULE:
- Starting at 2-3 + days a week in studio during the busy season (Spring & Fall), 10am - 5pm approx.
- Possibility for weekend/evening event bookings. Event bookings are usually scheduled a week or more in advance.
- Applicants would need to have a flexible schedule, and willingness to travel. (licensed driver a plus)
