Position at Taylor Communications Inc.
Taylor Communications is seeking a Director of Strategic Costing to provide leadership within our centralized estimating, services, and planning business unit. This role will be expected to provide strategic department direction, set and attain progressive performance/costing goals, and identify and implement key costing initiatives and projects.
Shift Available
• Monday – Friday
• 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities Include:
• Determine, implement, and monitor optimal costing strategy over multiple production divisions.
• Provide senior-level support on major revenue opportunities as warranted.
• Track/Metric Taylor Communications transfer cost rates against the market; identify and communicate areas of strength and need.
• Work with Planning in supporting key growth (capital addition, capacity constraints), productivity, and revenue/costing goals.
• Provide direction, support, and guidance to front-line managers and employees within a growing department.
• Develop career growth bands, training goals, and performance metrics to help drive employee satisfaction and success
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Operations Management, or related business field.
• 5+ years’ experience with job costing in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years progressive leadership experience in team-building, goal-setting, and cost/budget performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA in Finance, Operations Management, or related business field.
