Position at Travel Tags, Inc.
Travel Tags is seeking a Production Supervisor in Lamination department to manage daily workflow ensuring all production, quality and safety metrics are met. This position is also responsible for hiring, training and maintaining employee performance records while ensuring a safe, clean and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities Include:
• Ensure safety and facility policies and procedures are observed and followed
• Maintain and monitor workflow by establishing and adjusting resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs
• Record and maintain departmental metrics in order to recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
• Communicate goals and standards to employees
• Resolve employee issues by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions and recommending action
• Conduct employee training and performance appraisal process
• Maintain departmental standards in order to remain compliant with AIB and Food Safety standards
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering or related discipline
• Ability to lead change efforts
• Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
• Ability and willingness to hold self and direct reports accountable for meeting performance expectations
• Ability to communicate effectively to large groups of employees
• Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees
• Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
• Reacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assigned
• Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
• A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
• Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
• Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, internet research)
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English
