Description
Manage the scheduling and set up of Caroline’s 3rd label partner releases. Communicate to responsible parties pending activities / issues requiring resolution. Ensure regular updates are communicated to the Label, Caroline team and UMG Supply Chain. Manage requests for artwork and music parts, both domestic & international. Manage expectations and feasibility of requests from Labels, Marketing and Sales.
Job Functions:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage all physical, digital, mobile and video releases for Caroline Label Partners
• Metadata entry and asset assignment in R2
• Scheduling all products in UMG Systems: DIGS and Milestone
• Submission of all digital content according to the Digital Supply Chain rules and standards
• Maintain delivery deadlines to ensure all content meets the requested street date
• Responsible for managing the parts ordering process with Universal Music Studios
• Coordinate with Caroline International production and operations teams on release dates
• Management of initial new item setup & maintenance within UMG Business Systems – Atlas, R2, Legacy, Milestone, DIGS & Release Workspace
• Artwork review for physical releases ensuring all files meet required specifications
• Manage requests for UPC generations in GS1
Content Delivery to Partners
Related Tasks:
• Manage the content scheduled for release through the Digital Supply Chain from the set-up of the products to the delivery of the finished goods at our digital, mobile and video partners
• Liaise with the UMG Digital Supply Chain to ensure that content and data sent into the Supply Chain meets the required delivery standards of UMG delivery partners and is set up to the label’s requested specifications
Coordination with Label Personnel and UMG Operations functional groups on all relevant production issues
Related Tasks:
• Troubleshooting and problem solving on production related issues
• Label Training & Set Up in MediaPortal scheduling system
• Metadata Review of MediaPortal entries
• Manage copyright clearance submissions for all digital video and mobile releases in a timely manner to ensure deadlines and release dates are not delayed because of clearance
• Maintain relationships with supply chain leads for various partners to address issues in a timely manner
• Clear communication with label partners about current state of products
Cost analysis support
Related Tasks:
• Support cost review to ensure projects are in line with UMG policies and label plans
• Working with vendors for special manufacturing and packaging requirements, negotiating costs
Job Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
• Time management, plans the timing of tasks in order to always meet set objectives

• Some direction and monitoring is required in order to support the organisation and structure
• Is developing the ability to deliver what is promised, even when obstacles arise
• Is rarely called upon to take difficult decisions, will do so when necessary under supervision

• Strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
• 2 - 5 years of previous Production management experience
• Photoshop experience a plus
• Knowledge of and previous experience in Record Label operations process
• 1-2 years of administrative assistant experience
Education:
• Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
