This Associate Quality Assurance Analyst will work under the direction of the Sr SQA Engineer to test software application using a combination of manual functional, User Interface, data validation, integration and regression test cases and techniques.
Job Duties:
1. Perform functional testing of applications using manual test cases to confirm user interface, usability, data validation, integration and client end-to-end functionality. This includes regression testing and crossbrowser validation as needed.
2. Document test steps, defects, and test results of applications.
3. Facilitate and participate in scrum meetings for one or more product teams including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint review and retrospective.
4. Act as scrum master or perform supporting scrum master duties for the applicable team or product. Coordinate communication between teams and departments as needed.
5. Travel and administer onsite support at music festivals, provide hands on training, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with general support as needed.
Required Qualifications
1. A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Business, Computer Science, MIS or a related field
2. A minimum of 0-2 years of related work experience
3. Experience with internet technologies, live event support, agile and scrum methodologies
4. Strong computer skills including working with spreadsheets, browsers and mobile technologies
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn required business systems
6. Ability to clearly and professionally articulate ideas and opinions in both written and verbal manner
7. Scrum certification preferred
8. Knowledge of live events and the festival industry is preferred
